Our primary clinics are in Seattle — Mondays in Wallingford, inside Seattle Orthopedic Center (2409 N 45th St, Seattle, WA 98103; starting Nov 9) and Wednesdays in Fremont (1103 N 36th St, Seattle, WA 98103) — and Everett on Tuesdays and Fridays (1100 Pacific Avenue, Suite 200, Everett, WA 98201). Phones are answered Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. We care for injured workers across Bellevue, Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Marysville, Arlington, Kirkland, and the greater Puget Sound region — most patients are seen at our Seattle or Everett clinic, typically within the same week.

Yes. In Washington State an injured worker can change attending physicians at any point in an open L&I claim. Work Well Clinics accepts claim transfers — including claims other clinics have declined — and Dr. Abaño takes over the activity prescriptions, employer and claim-manager communication, and treatment plan from the first visit. Yes. Work Well Clinics accepts reopened claims and claims that are more than six months old, which many clinics turn away. Dr. Abaño reviews the claim history to make sure we can meaningfully contribute to your claim, documents your current condition and restrictions, and manages the claim through treatment, impairment rating and closure. Send the patient’s name and phone number, the L&I claim number if one exists, the nature of the injury, and the employer. Fax (360) 539-1380 or email team@workwellclinics.com. Most referred patients are seen the same week, and the referring provider receives a report after the visit.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Your appointment time is reserved just for you, and with enough notice we can offer it to another patient who needs care. Please be considerate of them.

A no-show, or a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, counts as a missed appointment. If you are a new patient establishing care with us, after two missed appointments we will no longer be able to see you in our clinic. If you are an established patient, the limit is three missed appointments. If this happens, we will let you know in writing and help you transfer your care and records to another provider so your claim is not interrupted.
